In 1990, Sheldon Reynolds and Andrea divorced and Reynolds received an important percentage of the Conan Doyle copyrights as part of his divorce settlement. He insisted on becoming the manager of the copyrights, which after some concern, was agreed to.

By 1996, the other copyright beneficiaries were getting very worried, as royalty payments had ceased from the time Sheldon Reynolds was named manager. In an action filed in New York Supreme Court against Reynolds, the Judge found against the defendant. In March 1998, a Court Order named Andrea (remarried) Plunket, as manager in his stead.

Sir Arthur, the masterful Teller of Tales, awaits with glee the next chapter.
